Vienna (Austria)

Vienna, the Austrian Capital, is with roughly 1.8 million people which makes it the largest city in Austria. Besides holding the title "City of Music" and being home to some of the world's most famous composers, its rich history as the resident city of the House of Habsburg and later the capital of the Austro-Hungarian empire, Vienna today is famous for its high quality of life. The Viennese Coffee Culture is still celebrated in many "Kaffeehäuser" (coffee houses) throughout the city and visitors will always find the right place to enjoy a good "Achterl" of the famous Austrian Wine with typical Austrian/Viennese food. Vienna is always worth a visit and well known worldwide for the Viennese Schnitzel, a breaded and fried Veal Schnitzel (silverside or topside) garnished with a slice of lemon and traditionally served with potato salad.
